A cracked supply line at 2am, a water heater that quit on a Sunday, a slab leak that's been climbing your water bill for weeks — whatever brought you here, our Stem-based crews are already staged and ready to roll.
We built Street Wise - Plumbing around a simple idea: the plumber who shows up should be the same caliber of professional whether it's a leaking faucet or a full sewer line replacement. Every technician working under our name in Stem, NC is licensed, insured, and trained on the specific fixture ages and pipe materials common to homes here.
Experience matters here — a technician who's replaced a hundred water heaters spots the corroded shutoff valve or undersized gas line before it becomes a callback. That's the level of eye we send to every Stem job.
We keep a small, accountable roster rather than a rotating pool of subcontractors — the technician you talk to on the phone is trained to the same standard as the one who'll actually be standing in your Stem kitchen.
These are the patterns our Stem dispatchers hear about most right before a job turns into an emergency call.
When water's actively coming out somewhere it shouldn't, minutes matter more than money. Our on-call technicians in Stem are dispatched with the parts and equipment to handle burst pipes, failed water heaters, and overflowing fixtures on the first trip.
Faucet replacements, garbage disposal swaps, toilet installs, and whole-house re-pipes — our residential division works on the full range of what a Stem home needs, not just the easy jobs.
Restaurants, offices, and retail spaces in Stem, NC can't afford extended downtime over a plumbing issue. Our commercial team is equipped for grease trap service, backflow testing, and multi-fixture repairs on a schedule that respects your operating hours.
Slow drains, recurring clogs, and sewer backups get diagnosed with real equipment — camera inspection and hydro-jetting — not guesswork. We'll show you exactly what's happening in the line before recommending a repair.
Whether it's a pilot light that won't stay lit or a full tank-to-tankless conversion, our technicians are certified on both gas and electric systems common in Stem, NC homes.
Rather than opening walls on a hunch, our technicians run listening equipment across the suspected line first, marking the leak within a foot or two before any cutting begins.
We replace failing shutoff valves and supply lines as part of fixture work rather than reconnecting new fixtures to old, brittle hardware that's likely to fail next.
You'll talk to an actual dispatcher in Stem, NC who asks a few quick questions to understand the problem and your address.
We route the closest qualified technician in Stem, and you'll get a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today."
Your technician diagnoses the issue and walks you through the fix and the flat price before starting, so there's no guessing at the invoice.
Once the fix is complete and tested, you get a written warranty — if something related fails, we come back and make it right.
We quote the job, not the hour, so a repair that takes longer than expected doesn't cost you more.
Because our trucks are already staged around Stem, NC, we're rarely the "next week" plumber.
We're happy to have every technician show ID and license on arrival; it's a standard we hold ourselves to, not a special request.
Our workmanship warranty means the fix is expected to hold — and if it doesn't, that's on us to correct, not you.
